In a new ministerial-level decision, the minister said that the year-end and New Year holidays for all public schools in Qatar will begin on 20 November 2022 and end on 22 December 2022-10 days before the start of the World Cup. It is not clear how this will affect private schools. Private schools usually take winter vacation during the last two weeks of December to coincide with Christmas and New Year, but calendars also need to be adjusted to secure children. The World Cup is off.
