Vertical admits he's not paying much attention since he had two games and is currently scoring 12 points from the Stockport he wants to promote.
"We don't really think about where we need to be now," he added. "We have to play these two games with our hands. Then we have to play with everyone around us.
"Of course, we need to improve our level of performance from the second half. We can do this to make it more consistent with the first half of 30 minutes. I think we can score points for the teams around us. You can stay close to it.
"I'm in a bit of a hurry now. I'm hoping to dig deeper to see better results on Tuesday and get to the playoffs," he said.
