This week American Express started with two of the top four players in the world who have been playing the best golf on the planet for the past six months, boasting the best field in almost 20 years.

1. Wait, 373 yards: This week, I was fascinated by the story of James Hard Do Press, a South African player on the field. He is taller than Bryson DeChambeau and has elegance and comfort that are reminiscent of other South African legends. He seems to have achieved a ball speed of 200 mph (or more) without too much effort. It won't win you a golf tournament, but in the world of golf, where you're crazy about speed and distance, he'll be an interesting follower of this week's event. According to the Golf Channel, he averaged 373 yards (average) away from T on last year's Sunshine Tour.
2. Can rum stay hot: It will be difficult to select the best players in the world this week. Wolff and Fowler both dropped out in 2021 and are about to regain momentum Both Galatoris and Schaeffler are aiming to win their first PGA Tour. It would be a great point of the season to get it.
